Zumbalicious Fundraiser Supporting Disaster Relief
NorCal Helping Hands Lions Club hosted an energetic Zumbalicious fundraising event at the Ygnacio Valley High School auditorium.
The event was organized to support Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) Disaster Relief. Through LCIF, Lions provide emergency assistance—including food, clean water, shelter, medical supplies, and recovery support—to communities affected by natural disasters. Our club is proud to contribute to this important global humanitarian effort through funds raised at Zumbalicious.
We sincerely thank everyone who participated, donated, and supported this meaningful event. Your generosity helps Lions respond quickly when communities need assistance the most.
A very special thank-you to our incredible instructors, WildKat Kathryn Durham-Hammer and ICC Hiren Pathak, for generously donating their time and bringing wonderful energy, enthusiasm, and fun to the event.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated club members and volunteers whose hard work and commitment made this fundraiser a great success. Together, we are making a difference locally and around the world.
Sri Lanka has faced many challenges following the devastating Cyclone Ditwah, and our club’s goal is to support where it is needed most. Our dedicated club member, Samantha Gajaweera, successfully coordinated three remarkable service projects during her visit to Sri Lanka!
A visit to a home for 32 mentally and physically challenged seniors in the Kelaniya area. After assessing the needs, with support from our sponsors and club members, we expanded the effort into a Hunger & Disaster Relief Project, donating healthy lunch packs, bedsheets, pillows, mattresses, clothes, fans, and other essential items.
This was a great success, raised funds for Lions Club International Disaster Relief
